At ISN, our community is one of our greatest strengths. Parents, guardians, and friends of the school play an active and meaningful role in shaping the experience of our students, both inside and outside the classroom.

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) serves as a welcoming and accessible platform for families to connect. It offers opportunities to build friendships, share experiences, and become involved in school life through social events, cultural celebrations, volunteer initiatives, and community activities. Beyond fostering a strong sense of belonging, the PTA enriches the school environment by supporting student programs, encouraging collaboration between families and staff, and strengthening the partnership between home and school.

Complementing this vibrant community involvement is the School Board, an elected body of parents entrusted with the governance and long-term stewardship of the school. The Board plays a critical role in setting the strategic direction, ensuring financial sustainability, and safeguarding the school’s mission and values. Its recent approval of the Site Masterplan demonstrates a clear commitment to thoughtful, future-focused campus development, ensuring that facilities continue to meet the evolving needs of students. Likewise, the Strategic Plan (2025–2029) reflects the Board’s dedication to continuous improvement, innovation, and educational excellence.

Together, the PTA and the School Board embody the collaborative spirit of ISN. While the PTA strengthens community engagement and day-to-day school life, the School Board provides governance, oversight, and long-term vision. Both are essential in sustaining a dynamic, forward-thinking school that supports student success and nurtures a thriving community.
