PRIMARY UNIFORM for ECH \u2013 PYP 6 students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

(Students from approx. 3 \u2013 10 years old)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Students from Early Childhood Programme to PYP 6 wear the Bula fabric uniform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tops <\/strong>\u2013 Bula print shirt<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bottoms <\/strong>\u2013 Navy shorts, navy skirts, navy skorts or a navy sulu. Skorts are a pair of comfortably fitted shorts that have an overlapping fabric panel across the front of the shorts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One Piece<\/strong> \u2013 Bula print tunic dress is available for students in ECH \u2013 PYP 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommended Footwear <\/strong>\u2013 White socks and black shoes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hats \u2013 <\/strong>Primary students are required to wear their school hat when playing or working outside. No hat, no play.<\/em> There are two types of uniform hats available: A full-brim hat or a cap with neck cover, both in navy with the school emblem embroidered into the front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SECONDARY UNIFORM (Middle Years Programme to Diploma Programme)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students aged 10 \u2013 18 years old<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Students from MYP 1 to DP 2 wear a cyan and navy uniform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tops <\/strong>\u2013 Cyan coloured cotton polo shirt with ISN emblem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bottoms <\/strong>\u2013 Navy shorts, navy skirts, navy skorts, a navy Fijian Sulu or navy tailored trousers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skorts <\/strong>are a pair of comfortablely fitted shorts that have an overlapping fabric panel across the front of the shorts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fijian Sulu<\/strong> embraces the Fijian tradition of formal wear for males and sulus can be seen worn during formal events here in Fiji. Most students do choose to wear shorts for comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hats \u2013 <\/strong>While hats are optional for the secondary students they are encouraged for outdoor activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommended Footwear <\/strong>\u2013 White socks and black shoes.\u00a0Black school sandals or lace-ups are required.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRIMARY HOUSE COLOURS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Each student is assigned a sporting house when they first enrol at ISN and remain in their houses throughout their enrollment at ISN. Events are held throughout the year. Students can earn points for their house by competing in these ISN sporting days as well as other fun events throughout the year. House colours are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Red<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yellow<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blue<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

PE UNIFORM<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Physical Education (PE) lessons are scheduled to take place on various days throughout the week. Students are required to wear their PE uniform on days when they have Physical Education scheduled.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students are required to wear the PE uniform for PE classes and sports days.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Primary students \u2013 <\/b>Wear their house coloured t-shirt with navy & white striped sports shorts. Students may come to school in their PE uniform on sports days and do not need to bring their regular uniform.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondary students<\/b> \u2013 Wear a light blue sports polo shirt and navy & white striped sports shorts. The Secondary Sports Uniform may be bought at the School Uniform Shop. Students must bring their PE uniform on the days they have PE and change into the uniform at school unless students have PE in the first two periods of their timetable. If that is the case, students may come to school in their PE uniform but will need to change into their regular uniform afterwards.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SWIMMING<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Swimming lessons are scheduled into the timetable to take place during selected terms each year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Primary & secondary students<\/b> are suggested to wear<\/span> black or navy blue one-piece bathing suit and swim trunks or shorts for swimming lessons<\/span> but not required.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Other items<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jewellery:<\/b> a watch and a pair of stud earrings are the only items of jewellery that may be worn.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hair: <\/b>Hair is to be neat and tidy at all times. Long hair (below shoulders) should be neatly tied back. No extreme hairstyles\/hair colours are permitted.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plain navy blue\/black\/brown ribbons or clips may be used.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
